As the second largest city of Guatemala, Xelajú (as locals call this town) is well known for its culture, and for its adherence to the arts and its Italian influence in architecture.

Currently the city of Quetzaltenango is located in a strategic point for commercial trade, services and education, as well as the textile industry.

Close to Quetzaltenango you will find Fuentes Georginas (a place of hot natural springs). Combining these two places, would be a great experience for a historical and nature tour.
